Rav Ahluwalia

This is Rav, our Oral Health Therapist at Spa Dental. She graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health with adult scope from the University of Sydney. She initially started as a dental assistant working alongside General Dentists and Orthodontists in Sydney where she discovered her genuine passion for patient care and in making a positive impact on their lives.

As an Oral Health Therapist, her scope of practice involves routine check-ups, cleanings and gum care ensuring optimal oral health for all patients - including treating both adults and children. She also specialises in providing preventative and restorative treatments such as fillings, sealants and fluoride treatments. Additionally, Rav also provides teeth whitening services to help achieve brighter smiles and assists the Spa Dental Doctors’ patients undergoing Invisalign.

Seeing the satisfaction on her patients faces upon achieving their desired results brings immense joy to Rav. She takes pride in helping anxious patients feel at ease during their appointments, creating a relaxed and fun environment that promotes good oral health and overall well-being.

She continues to take up any opportunities to expand her knowledge in treating periodontal disease, paediatrics and Invisalign.

Outside of the clinic, Rav enjoys spending time with family and friends, experimenting with new recipes, creating hand made crafts and jamming to different music styles, especially old Bollywood music. She also plays the harmonium and sings in small religious functions when given the opportunity.
