Wondering about Invisalign in Sydney CBD?

Are you wondering whether you should get your teeth straightened and what would be the best way to go about it? Have you heard that getting your teeth aligned means many more trips to the dentist for braces check-ups? How are you going to fit those into your busy week when you have to be at work in the central business district from Monday to Friday?

Welcome to Spa Dental Sydney CBD. We are situated right in the heart of the business district on Castlereagh Street, just 2 minutes walk from Martin Place train station. Our clinic is open from 8.30am-5pm every week day, which means you can pop in before work or in your lunch hour.

But you don’t need to worry so much about endless dental appointments when you choose Invisalign in Sydney CBD with us because this method of teeth straightening does not require adjustments in the same way that traditional bracket and wire braces do.

Aligners, not braces

Every straightening system has to progressively move the teeth into alignment, and with traditional braces, this is achieved by regularly tightening the wires through the braces to keep up the pressure. With Invisalign in Sydney CBD, the progress is made by having a series of mouth guard-like aligners, each with precisely placed pressure points built into it. You wear one after the other. When you put one in for the first time, you will feel the pressure on various places on your teeth. It will feel like the aligner does not quite fit properly. Over the next 7-10 days, the pressure will gradually wear off as the teeth move in response to being pressed upon. When the pressure has gone, it’s time to move onto the next aligner in the series.

How long does it takes?

Treatment with Invisalign takes 9-18 months and works best on mild to moderate alignment issues. You will know more once you have had a free consultation with us.

Once treatment is complete, you will have to spend some time wearing a retainer. This keeps the teeth in their correct positions while the newly made bone around them settles down.
