That fabulous smile is hiding behind…well…nothing
It’s all well and good thinking it would be great to get your teeth straightened, but between imagining having straight teeth and actually having them are months of straightening treatment. And when that treatment means wearing metal braces over your teeth, you may well decide not to bother. After all, what’s holding your hand over your smile compared to looking like a nerdy teen when you are in fact in a managerial position at work?
We think it’s quite a lot and at Spa Dental Sydney CBD, we have a solution to that Catch 22 situation. It’s called Invisalign. In Sydney CBD, many people have already used Invisalign to straighten their teeth. Go shopping on a Saturday and chances are you will pass by several Invisalign wearers. They may even smile at you, but you will be none the wiser because Invisalign in Sydney CBD is almost impossible to spot.
Invisalign is an amalgamation of 2 words: invisible and alignment. These brilliant devices could have also been called Removalign because the other great thing about them is that they come out for eating and cleaning, which can save a whole lot of time after meals.
How Invisalign in Sydney CBD works
Instead of brackets and wires fixed onto your teeth to pull them into position, Invisalign uses very thin plastic tooth trays that are moulded to hug your teeth like a second layer of enamel. The plastic goes all the way up to your gumline, creating a seamless look; except that, when these 0.3mm thick trays are on your teeth, they are pretty much impossible to see.
They also don’t fit and this is deliberate. Inside each tray computer-calculated placements of bumps and ridges press on your teeth, gently shifting them over 7-10 days. By the time the aligners feel like they fit, it’s time to swap them out for the next set in the series.
The average treatment time for Invisalign in Sydney CBD is a year, as long as you wear your aligners for at least 20 hours a day. Plus, at the end of your treatment, you get a free whitening session, so you leave here with that fabulous smile at full beam.
