Realign with Invisalign in Sydney CBD
A straighter smile is a healthier smile. This may be true but in some cases all you want is an eye-pleasing smile. All you want to do is show off a smile you can be proud of. Sometimes all you want to do is have the confidence to smile. And the good news is these days, getting a straighter teeth does not mean a ‘mouth full of metal’. These days realignment can be made in full view of your peers, without them even knowing.
What is Invisalign?
In Sydney CBD, Invisalign is a non-invasive tooth straightening treatment that is offered here at Spa Dental Sydney CBD. They are a set of transparent aligners that fit comfortably over your teeth and since they are made from totally clear see-through plastic all people see is your teeth. This makes Invisalign great to those who wish their treatment to go unnoticed.
The Invisalign process
Invisalign in Sydney CBD is created using the latest technology and techniques. During this process, our dentist takes a series of impressions, x-rays and photos. From them we can make an assessment of how your teeth are positioned. The images are uploaded on to a computer to create a video of how your teeth will realign into the desired position. This means you can see a computer image of the final result even before any Invisalign aligners have even been created.
The next step in the Invisalign process is to make a unique set of aligners. This is done by using an impression of your teeth. Every aligner in the set will all be slightly different in size to ensure there is a constant pressure on the teeth at all times. This constant pressure is what gradually guides the teeth into alignment. Your dentist will be able to give you more precise instructions as every user is unique but the aligners are usually worn for approximately 7-10 days before moving onto the next aligner in the set. It is recommended that the aligners are worn as often as possible so as to achieve the desired result in the desired timeframe. The aligners are removable and it is recommended they are removed for eating and cleaning.
