Sounds great. But, what is Invisalign?

If you want to get your teeth realigned without anybody knowing how you’re doing it, then Invisalign could be the treatment you need. It consists of clear plastic aligners that are worn over the teeth like a gumshield, but they are far more streamlined. The aligners apply pressure to the teeth to gently manoeuvre them into position over a period of approximately 6 to 18 months, although this will vary depending on your specific circumstances. It is used to treat mild to moderate alignment issues such as crossbite, over or underbites, gapped or crowded teeth.

Why should I consider choosing Invisalign?

Invisalign Sydney offers a variety of benefits for patients who are able to have this treatment. Firstly, opting for Invisalign means that you can confuse your friends and family because, as you wear the aligners, nobody should realise you have anything in your mouth. The plastic is transparent, so only your teeth should be visible. What’s more, you will be able to remove the aligners for up to 2 hours a day. This will enable you to eat and drink as normal, without having to restrict your diet in any way (everything in moderation, though!) and you will also be able to brush and floss as normal, maintaining your oral hygiene routine. Another positive point is that the aligners should be comfortable to wear as they are made bespoke for you. Using iTero technology, we will digitally scan your mouth to get the measurements for your aligners to be manufactured in the Invisalign laboratories. We can then use this to generate a 3D scan of what your smile will look like after treatment, before you even get started, allowing you to feel even more motivated and excited about the end goal (if you like what you see – and why wouldn’t you?!)
