What is the procedure?

This is because depending on your personal situation, you may need to undergo some prior treatment before having your replacement teeth inserted into your jaw in order to ensure stability and reduce the risk of rejection.

Part of the initial consultation with be a candid discussion with one of our team members so that we can gain an understanding of your medical history, your lifestyle and your expectations for what your smile will look like at the end of the treatment.

We will then take a series of scans, photos and X-rays of your teeth and mouth and provide you with a thorough dental examination. Factors such as your jawbone density and your oral health will be considered.

After your initial consultation, we will organise a time for you to come back and have your implants placed into your jaw. During the next couple of months as they heal, the jawbone will fuse to the metal rod and create a very stable and secure bond.

Depending on your personal situation we can either add the crown immediately during this procedure or at a later date. The crown is made to look very similar to your natural teeth in shape, size and colour.
